ACCOUNTANT

It is our great pleasure to be involved in the recruitment process for one of our valued clients in Waterloo, Ontario. We are currently recruiting for an Accountant for a progressive, medium sized Chartered Accounting firm.

General Responsibilities:

Working closely with our client, this position is responsible working on tax planning, reorganizations and family trusts for an array of clients.

Qualifications/Skills:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Three to five years experience in a Chartered Accounting firm
• CA or CGA designation
• Good accounting knowledge
• Comfort working with CaseWare
• Initial experience in reviewing of files
• Experience in the preparation of files
• Comfortable with taxes (to help with the accounting side)
• Software skills (Quickbooks)
• Management experience
• Comfort with clients
• People skills
• Superior organizational skills
• Effective multi-tasking

This is a full time position with a salary of $50,000 to $80,000, dependent on experience.
